Pelatihan Pembuatan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Google Sites Kepada Guru SMAS Dharma Yadi Makassar

Abstract

Educators are required to utilize various learning technologies available in today's classrooms. Therefore, various efforts are needed in the learning process. One such effort is the use of Google Sites-based learning media, which aims to facilitate the teaching and learning process for educators. Given the importance of enhancing educators' competencies and skills in maximizing the use of learning media, training on the creation and use of Google Sites-based learning media is necessary for teachers. The objective of this training is to broaden knowledge and strengthen educators' competencies in creating and utilizing Google Sites as a learning tool. This training was conducted on January 25, 2025, at SMAS Dharma Yadi Makassar, attended by 13 teachers. It was carried out in two stages: the first stage involved presenting the concepts and benefits of Google Sites as a learning medium, while the second stage focused on hands-on practice in creating and operating Google Sites as a learning tool. The training employed a combination of lecture-based material delivery, hands-on practice, and direct Q&A sessions. As a result of this training, participants, all of whom are educators at SMAS Dharma Yadi Makassar, were able to understand the concepts and benefits of Google Sites and successfully create and use Google Sites-based websites as learning media.
