Scientific writing is a crucial skill in both academic and professional realms. This skill teaches individuals to think critically, gather and analyze data, and construct logical arguments. At MAN 2 Nganjuk, students are unfamiliar with data science, despite its importance in today's digital era. The main challenge is the lack of knowledge among students and teachers about data science. To address this, a community service program was conducted by the LPPM Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya and the Statistics Study Program, offering hybrid training for twelfth-grade students. The training covered the introduction of big data, software such as R, Python, and SQL, and the application of data science in scientific writing. The implementation methods included in-person and online sessions, supported by materials shared via Google Drive and ongoing assistance through WhatsApp. The training results showed an improvement in students' understanding and skills in data science and scientific writing. Some challenges included limited time, availability of teaching modules, and comprehension of the material. Overall, the program successfully enhanced data literacy and motivated students to explore data science, significantly contributing to their preparation for academic and professional challenges.
