Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies through educational game innovation for interactive learning. The program was implemented using a participatory training approach and continuous mentoring, consisting of four stages: planning, training implementation, mentoring, and evaluation. The planning stage involved identifying teachers’ needs through discussions and initial observations. The training was conducted in the form of a workshop covering the concept of educational games, principles of active learning, and the application of the mathematics tug-of-war game in classroom learning. During the mentoring stage, teachers were guided to design and implement educational games according to their teaching context. Evaluation results showed an improvement in teachers’ understanding, skills, and attitudes toward the use of educational games as interactive learning media. The program provides practical contributions as an applicable model for teacher professional development and supports the creation of active, creative, and meaningful learning processes.
